Guest guest
Garden Salsa - 2-29 oz cans of crushed red tomatoes - 3 cloves of garlic (minced) - 1 teaspoon cumin - 1 teaspoon chili powder - 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper - 1 cup cilantro (or for taste) - One half of a small lime - 3-4 or so hot peppers - 1 bell pepper (color your choice. I use a red pepper) - 1 whole medium sized onion (Vidalia's or other sweet onions are my favorite) - 1 can black beans (drained and slightly mashed) Directions: Get a big bowl and throw in the black beans. Slightly mash them with a spoon so they suck up the flavors. Then, throw in the following: crushed red tomatoes, hot peppers, bell pepper, and onion. Mix well, then add the rest of the ingredients. Chill for about one hour and dip away! Add more spices, if necessary! This makes a lot of salsa, so cut in half if you don't need this much. I'd still use the same amount of spices though Peace...
