Guest guest
> Hello, I'm very interested in making this recipe. But the fractions you typed for measurements do not display correctly on my computer. > Could you please repost this recipe and type the fractions manually. . . Please don't do that ;=) if you don't mind. It's bad enough when our computers act up and one recipe gets sent thrice (just happened to me!), but let's not do it on purpose, okay? LOL I will remind people sending recipes that, since everyone's software cannot read those quick fraction thingies that some computer software is able to generate, they should indeed, as laurieadrienne has asked, put the numerals in manually: one-half can be written by using numeral one followed by forward stroke followed by numeral two, as in 1/2. It is probably no slower and it can be read by everyone. Okay? That said, I draw everyone's attention to the fact that if you cannot for any reason read a recipe in your mailbox, simply go to check it out on the webpage. Easy. Further, I suggested the last time this matter arose, the following (and I really really checked out to see what I'd said LOL Okay, it's a slow morning!): > AND NOW if there are problems reading, please simply ASK the poster to > clarify - we all make mistakes, forget, whatever. Clarify. That would probably be easier than requiring a repost of the recipe. Please don't re-post recipes. If they are recent, they can be found in the archives, if they are more than a few days old, they can be found in the Files. And *that* is exactly where the Cucumber and Onion Salad is right now - in the Files. And yes, I re-typed the fractions myself. Check out Salads. Also the November file. Best, Pat ;=)
