Guest guest
Heres a recipe that'll make yer tongue curl! Mango chutney two-three mangoes, cubed three or four diced strawberries one small finely dice onion one clove fresly pressed garlic small bunch of cilantro, chopped two tablespoons rice wine vinegar one tablespoon maple syrup and one finely diced habanero pepper Place all ingredients in bowl and mix thoroughly, then put into a jar to mariinate overnight. This is great over pad thai or brown rice, or just to spice up a fruit salad! MaryElizabeth vegan chef
Guest guest
What an intriguing recipe! Thanks a bunch ;=) And welcome to the group - just jump in and join any chatter, why don't you - and of course start up a thread of your own if you like. We're primarily a recipe group, but we also talk about vegetarian-related matters - somehow usually food for some reason LOL Best, Pat ;=)

About the pumpkin recipe, you didn't say and I gather it is a matter of taste, but what proportions of rice, wild rice and sesame seeds do you use? It's intriguing to use a hollowed pumpkin for a casserole - even though no pumpkin in the recipe. It would look sensational - a bit like serving, say, fruit salad in a hollowed watermelon ;=) Hope you enjoy the list! Best, Pat ;=)
Guest guest
Pat, I let my intuition guide me when I make most of my foods... I have very good success with them 99.9% of the time, but then, theres always that one big boo-boo now and then...:-) you can always add that habanero sauce if you gotta have it hot,or that hot curry paste from a jar....Mo Hotta-Mo Bettah! YEAH! MaryElizabeth -- In , " greenfury2004 " <greenfury2004> wrote: > > > --Hello Pat! > > Glad to make your acquaintance!
