I think seitan or firm tofu would work in this curry sauce, as you suggest in your post somewhere, but it wouldn't be anything like the delight of a curry made of all cashews! Anyway, although an 'expensive' recipe, as you say, I posted it as a bit of a December-ish celebration thingie - and a lot of things are more expensive than cashews!!! LOL >The amounts stated are wrong. 1lb=2.2kg. You're right and I'm dead wrong and I'm sorry. I'll correct it in the file. And repost on list. 225 g is 1/2 lb - more or less - not 1 lb. Typos abound when I do this kind of thing ;=( Thanks very very much for pointing my error out. l lb is 458 g, 1 kg is 2.2 lbs. I *know* that but my keyboarding skills don't.
