Hi all, this is a curry recipe from a book by Purobi Babbar, which my

friend brought me back from India......

1 small cauliflower, seperate the flowerettes.

3 medium potatoes, cubed.

1/2 cup of peas.

100 gms french beans, cut into 1 inch pieces.

1 medium onion, chopped.

6 green chillies,chopped.

3 red chillies,1 tsp of cumin seeds,8 peppercorns,4 cloves,1 " piece

cinnamon, 2 green cardomoms and 1 tsp coriander seeds- dry roasted

and ground to a smooth paste with a little water....3 tsp.

2 bay leaves.

1/2 cup of ghee or oil.

chopped coriander leaves.

*heat ghee or oil and fry cauliflower, beans and potatoes until light

brown. remove from heat and keep aside.

*fry onion, chillies and bay leaves separately. add beans,

cauliflower, potatoes and peas. mix well.

*add all ground spices which have been made into a paste, stir well

and fry over low heat for 10 - 15 mins.

*add 2 cups of hot water, cover and simmer over low flame for another

10 mins untill gravy is thick.

*remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped coriander.
