Travelling Cross-country

Well, folks, this is it. In a week and a half, I'll be travelling from

Rhode Island to LA then to Oakland by car. I'm moving to Oakland for

good, so this will be quite a trip. My best friend is also coming

along. What I want to know is what your favorite travel foods and

goodies are, and what you would recommend we take with

us...thankfully, my best friend has recently turned veggie himself, so

it'll be really cool. What'll be nice is that we'll be travelling

through the southwest, so I know we'll be able to get a lot of nice

spicy stuff there. But anyway, whatever you can suggest will be

helpful, since I'll have to go shopping next week for it.
