Guest guest
This reminded me.... Have any of you tried or made any type of chile-preserves? I've heard of several chile-heads making things such as habanero-apricot jam and other such things. At first I thought the idea sounded strange, however I've been wanting to either try a taste or preferably make one and try a taste for some time. It's suppose to (obviously) have that sweet and super hot thing going at the same time. The sweet is up front and then you experience an aftereffect of the heat which hits ya later. Any tried and true recipe of this sort would be appreciated. Thanks. S. , (Save your jam-on-toast specialties
Guest guest
I've got a recipe that calls for jalapeno jelly. I can't find the stuff anywhere, so I was going to make some. Does anyone have a recipe? Sweet-hot is one of my favorite flavor combos. Search presents - Jib Jab's 'Second Term'
Guest guest
Sorry, no recipe, but I have tasted jelly made with hot peppers and thought it was really good. Someone was selling jars of it and passing out samples at one of the big vegetarian conferences... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ from Maida.
