It's just a little past 4 pm here in Montreal, and I'm thinking towards dinner

;=)

I'm thinking of a stir-fry of peppers, mushrooms, chillies, ginger, garlic and

onions, etc., to have with brown rice. Or I might make a pea and mushroom

curry with some dhal on the side to have with rice. Or just an egg dish

preceded by some homemade cauliflower soup (I put on the crockpot last

evening)! You see, I really can't decide - always a bad sign LOL

How about you? What's for dinner at your house tonight? Let us know!

Best,

Pat ;=)

I partially fried and steamed too many veggies for my spaghetti sauce

last night. I decided to go ahead and take what I had left and turn

it into a small stir fry.

It was a combo of (all were fresh) mushrooms, onion (yellow), garlic

(plenty), broccali, baby carrots, 1 green and yellow zuchinni/squash,

cilantro, mint and thai basil. I added some peanuts, hoisen, chile

sweet sauce, red pepper flakes, jarred ginger and asian stir fry sauce

to it. I think that was it.

Maybe an egg curry? I think that is boiled and chopped egg mixed in

with a curry sauce or paste - not sure.

I'm thinking spaghetti. I took the other portion of those veggies and

blopped that into a crockpot with two jars of sketti sauce, a bit of

jarred basil and oregano, garlic powder, red pepper flakes and a

smidgen of veggie broth.

Boiled a big batch of pasta too. Oh in the sauce, i poured in a bit

of extra virgin olive oil while on low.

Just wish I had some garlicky/buttery Texas Toast to go with it.

S. :)

Acctually, scratch my first response. I ended up going to a vegetarian

resteraunt in Albany, CA called " Mother Nature " (for those in the bay

area: take the Buchannon St. exit on 580 past Emeryville. Take a right

off the exit, and then a right on to San Pablo. It's accross the

street from BevMo!). Talk about an amazing resteraunt! It's

Chinese/Malaysian food, all organic and mostly vegan. I stuffed myself

silly on Steamed Buns (they come with a yummy bean filling) and

Seaweed Wrapped Bean Curd in Tamarind Sauce, and then had Black Sesame

Homemade Vegan Ice Cream for dessert. YUMMMMMMMMMM!!

(Can you tell that this place was good? *grin*)

Hehe...and I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!!!
