Guest guest
Just making last minute decisions here - as usual. Tonight it looks as if we are eating pretty conventional stuff, nothing earth shattering: wholewheat penne tossed with sauteed zucchini, garlic, mushrooms and *of course* chillies, with freshly grated parmesan for the dh, fake cheez for me, and spinach and tomato salad. How about the rest of you? What for dinner? Anyone going out for it? ;=) Have a great weekend! Best, Pat ;=)
Guest guest
We ended up in Chinatown having this spicy tofu stuff along with other unmentionables. It was a nice night out. My 8 y.o. dd who turns her nose up at most things ate the spicy tofu --? The other day she had 2 big helpings of my veggie lasagne - last time she picked out the pasta. My dad who HATESHATESHATES spinach, also had seconds - surprised even himself. Woohoo!!!! Anyway, after dinner, we went up to the Village to our fave place for dessert (Vivaldi's) & they now have live music. DD wanted a copy of the girl's CD so I said ok - $5 for a cultural memory is ok with me. Bethie --- veggiehound <veggiehound wrote: > > > Here I go again, making decisions at the last > minute. Wouldn't know how it was made, would you? >My 8 y.o. dd who turns her nose up at most > things ate the spicy tofu --? Nothing like a night out and the challenge of chopsticks to inspire confidence in food! >The other day she had 2 > big helpings of my veggie lasagne Congratulations - lasagne clearly a resounding success ;=) Best, Pat ;=)
Guest guest
>>Sounds great! Wouldn't know how it was made, would you? Hex no. I wantto say it was 'dried bean curd'. The tofu was cut into matchsticks & VERY firm. Soy based sauce & LOADS of chopped jalapenos. Quite tasty. Celebrate 's 10th Birthday!
