As I tried to make clear in my original post on the topic, it's not the " me@ty " flavor that I like -- because the mock me@t I've had doesn't taste like me@t, or at least, what I remember it tasting like. The texture, however, is incredibly fantastic. Wonderfully tender-chewy and unlike other tofu I've eaten. Because I eat a lot of tofu, I am always interested in learning new ways to prepare it. I would love to know how to prepare tofu like this at home. So for me, I am not interested in eating the " mock me@t " for its me@t flavor (because there really isn't any). I don't want to eat me@t, which is why I don't. I do, however, want to eat tofu that is prepared in a really excellent manner. As also mentioned in my original post on the topic, the words " mock me@t " is how the restaurant describes it on their menu -- not how I personally describe it. Me, I'd call it " really delicious tender-chewy tofu. " (Personally, I don't get real hung up on labels. If it tastes good and is vegetarian, I want to eat it. I don't care if someone else has labeled it " mock me@t. " ) Laurie
