Where've you all gone? - And Happy Victoria Day Weekend!

Okay okay, I know I'm not able to post as much as I'd like right now, but where

are all the rest of you guys???? Come on, let's hear from you!!! This is a great

list and without its members it's a great silent list!

 

I'm planning a big day baking (bread and quickbreads) tomorrow, plus a

whole bunch of bean and lentil thingies of the kind that freeze well and can be

quickly defrosted for quick meals. Also, I thought, some all-purpose tomato

sauce - I like to make it with all the basics, then grab a pot of it out of the

freezer to add to curries with the appropriatae spices, chile sin carne ditto,

or

with some fresh herbs for pasta. All this on Victoria Day Weekend? Why not!

No garden to plant LOL

Well, for some reason I haven't been getting list mail ( is being

wonky again), so...

 

It's also almost summer...

 

Other than that, not too much going on here. I made that bread pudding

again (the one with the ginger) and it got raves again and was gone

within an hour.
