Guest guest
This is wonderful and a bit zippy. It makes a great dip to serve to guests after a long day out and about.... something to snack on over cocktails while they wait for dinner. California Avocado Salsa 3 large ripe avocados, peeled and cubed 3 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped 1 1/2 cups chopped sweet red pepper 1 small onion, chopped 1 to 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped 3 Tbs minced fresh cilantro 1/4 cup lime juice Salt to taste In a bowl, combine the first eight ingredients, mix well. Serve immediately with chips. Yield: 5 cups ~ pt ~ I frequently tramped eight or ten miles through the deepest snow to keep an appointment with a beech-tree, or a yellow birch, or an old acquaintance among the pines. ~ Henry David Thoreau, naturalist and author (1817-1862)
