Greetings from London, Ontario - from Pat

Hi everyone!

 

Well, we survived the move and are now happily settled (or what passes for

being settled - still a lot to do!) in London, Ontario. The move was uneventful,

thank heavens! And now as you see I am connected up to the net thanks to

the magic of cable.

 

I have been checking the recent postings this afternoon - everyone sounds

well and happy, just the way I like to hear LOL Anyone doing anything special

for the rest of the summer? We'll be here, most likely - too much to do with

sorting cupboards, hanging pictures and the like to indulge ourselves in more

than local activities.

 

Now we have to re-learn London. I was pleased, though, to note that Loblaws

has more veggie options than I remember - always a happy discovery. It has

to be said, though, that mostly what we make at home can be made from the

ordinary ingredients found in most (western) supermarkets and green

groceries. Amazing how a few spices can turn a mundane dish into an exotic

treat.

 

So lets hear from some of you who have been lurking or absent from the list

for a while! What're ya doin????? I'll tell all if you will! LOL
