Welcome to vegetarianism again - yes it should be easier this time round, I'm

sure. Every year I notice more and more products in the shops and more

restaurants which offer serious veg options - not just 'tossed salad'!

 

And London has sat up and taken notice of the vegetarian scene too, as you

will see. Welcome to London! We have just returned after an absence of some

15 months (we previously lived here for five years only, but it does feel like

home). It'll be great to compare notes!

I didn't realize that we were talking about the same London.

 

My favorite vegetarian restaurant currently is The Vietnam. It's on Dundas,

right across from Kelloggs. I work about five minutes away so it works out

great. I recommend the number 66, a lovely fried rice with vegetables and

tofu. Start out with the spring rolls and finish off with the Vietnamese

coffee and you have a great meal for about $15.

 

Let's see some of those spicy recipes folks. I won't be cooking this

weekend as we are going away but I forsee some cooking next weekend.

Not quite sure where that is (cross street? Street number?) but I'll look it up

soonest. Thanks v. much - it's always great to have a good recommendation!

 

Tonight we made bo mein - with lots and lots of veggies still crisp in there.

Feeling I'll never eat again!
