Guest guest
Hello folks, I hope that I am allowed to stay here because I am not a vegetarian but I find that I am cooking more and more meatless meals as time goes on. My main reasons for not 'turning' as yet are 2 fold. A hubby who whilst he loves veggie meals also needs a regular meat fix and, my sheer ignorance about maintaining a balanced veggie diet. Vegetarians are still relatively rare here in France. We are growing a wonderful selection of veg in our large garden and I am constantly hunting for greater knowledge about cooking exclusively veggie meals. In 2 weeks our veggie friend will be making their annual visit to us and they will cook during the weekend, providing us with the most delectable meals that would make anyone wonder why they should need to eat meat. Tonight I will be cooking green peppers stuffed with rice, raisens and pine nuts. A first time for this recipe so I hope it turns out OK. We currently have a glut of potatoes, tomatoes, gerkins, peppers, some okra and aubergine almost ready. I am really hoping to learn something with this list. Regards, Chris
