Guest guest
What's on the menu for you today? Spicy (as with the theme of this list) or not? Hot or cold? Quick and easy or what? Yesterday we had salads - barely a skiff of spice in any of them, really, but today I am planning to make the Mediterranean Bulgur and Lentils Dish (posted to the Files some time ago) that I made a week ago for a non-veggie guest - he loved it. It's cooked in the crockpot/slowcooker and I topped it with a mix of Toffutti sour creem and finely chopped fresh mint with lemon zest and a squeeze of juice. Delish! So that's me for tonight - quick and easy to prepare, slow to cook so I can go out for the afternoon. Unless, of course, I find some other wonderful spicy idea in my b=cookbooks or database! LOL And you????? Best, Pat
Guest guest
For lunch: stir-fried asparagus with garlic, chiles, ginger root, sesame oil and soy sauce over steamed rice; strawberries for dessert.
