O/T Canadian Thanksgiving - I promised a menu

Great menu, Kirk. Thanks so much.

 

As it unfortunately occurs, my hands and arms have just more or less packed it

in - not

better but worse - so my dh and I had a consultation. Although he's a great

cook, he also

has simple tastes. So we decided to do the 'easy' thing from now on, including

thanksgivintg. We've purchased veg for cruditee, plus (gasp, horror) commercial

dips of

various kinds, after which we will have Mediterranean Bulgar & Lentils (See

Files for recipe)

with accompanying salads, followed by fresh fruit.

 

We'll have this tomorrow, Sunday (while veg are all freshest) for our official

'Thanksgiving',

and on Monday, Thanksgiving Day, we're having Indonesian-style noodles - mee

goreng

or whatever you want to call em - which my dh will make, with accompaniments.

this family? No way! More fun not ;=)
