Guest guest
Hi there, Kay - Welcome to the group. I see you are trying to cut back on me*t, eh? Good idea - and you'll find that you're in a growing number of people who are looking to vegetarianism for their health. You write: >I live eggplant > parmesain and also manyof the Thai dishes Search our recipes - there are some great ones there, although mostly 'hot' and spicy, there's also a file for 'Other Savoury Faves' which is for those dishes which are members' favourites which don't quite fit the major theme here ;=) As for Thai dishes, have a look under Main Meals and Side Dishes!!! (I love Thai food myself - especially red curries, although I only use coconut milk once in a while. > I 'd like > to find more high-protein, low carb recipes. Okayyyy - guess you'll have to go for the tofu and seitan etc., and bean dishes, easier on the grains? Maybe someone has something just right for you! > I had a gastric-by pass almost two years ago and have lost over 170 pounds > and am trying to keep my lifestyle healthy. Well I guess! Good for you - and best of luck with that maintenance diet! We're not low carb or low calorie on this list, but that doesn't mean that many of the recipes wouldn't work perfectly well for you - especially, say, the spicier stir-fries. And your son and daughter might enjoy those too. > I live in a log cabin that sits on a rise above a > small trout stream. Any Photos??? I'll look forward to chatting with you more - a pleasure to meet ya! Best, Pat (List Owner / Co-Moderator / general dogsbody)
