Guest guest
What a great group you are! Do any of you have a tried-and-true meatless main course loaf recipe that you'd be willing to share? Spicy is nice, but DH can't tolerate the huge amount of heat that I can <g> I'm looking for one that can hold together when it's sliced for sandwiches, etc. Eggs and dairy are fine by me. And any ideas for what to do with loaf slices besides in sandwiches would be great, too! Thanks a million! Sherry in Oregon
Guest guest
Can't help much with this one, I'm afraid - not quite my kind of thing in the normal way of day to day living. But maybe if I had a really really good recipe . . . However, you also ask: > any ideas for what to do with loaf slices besides in sandwiches would be > great, too! Okay, this is not so hard ;=) Try crumbling it as if for ground me*t and using it in between lasagna layers; re-shape it and roll in crumbs (with or without eggwhite, your choice) and saute as patties or rissoles or croquettes or whatever; add to rice and veg mixture, crumbled, in the stuffing of bell peppers, zucchini or tomatoes? Best love, Pat
