Guest guest
This not only has my beloved poppy seeds in it but it's eggnog as well. 'Eggnog Poppy Seed Bread " 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup poppy seed 1 1/4 cups prepared eggnog 1 Tblspn. plus 1 tsp. grated orange peel 3 Tblspns. vegetable oil 3 1/2 tsps. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. ground nutmeg 1 egg Optional (I always toss in a dash of cardamom) Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom only of a 9X5X3 loaf pan. Mix all ingredients; beat 30 seconds. Pour into pan and bake 50-60 minutes. Test by inserting toothpick and making sure it comes out clean. Cool slightly, loosen sides of loaf from pan with a table knife, remove from pan and cool on wire rack. Note: This is such an easy recipe, you don't have to beat wet ingredients and the mix all dry ingredients together first. Enjoy! " I guarantee you, this place will blow your mind.
