Guest guest
Looking for a cookbook that covers all the Asian dishes...but something that has only vegetarian foods .... no fish, no fish paste/sauce, no eggs. Dairy is alright. I have been looking in bookstores for the past 3 months...and have found nothing. Any ideas? Was thinking Buddhist, since it will cover all the Asian cuisines that I love, and will be vegetarian -- The two rules for success are: 1. Guest guest
You definitely should check out Madhur Jaffrey's World-of-the-East Vegetarian Cooking. It's got recipes from many Asian countries. They're completely vegetarian, and many are vegan (not that that matters to you, but it might to some people). I'm on my second copy of this book. I used the first so much that it started falling apart! Another book that may interest you is Real Vegetarian Thai by Nancie McDermott. Susan - " Parag B. There is a book by Bryanna Clark Grogan called Authentic Chinese Cuisine for the Contemporary Kitchen. The recipes are all vegan. from Maida Citizens for Pets in Condos, http://www.petsincondos.org South Florida Vegetarian Events, http://www.soflavegevents.net
