Guest guest
Let's try once more - Cafe' de la Olla (an Olla is a Mexican clay coffee or bean pot) You can use a saucepan. Place 5 cups of water in the olla on the stove Add when the water boils: 2 sticks of cinnamon (canella at a Mexican food store) 5 whole cloves orange zest (fresh is best but you can use dried orange, lemon, whatever you like) 1/2 cup coarsly ground coffee Simmer for 5 minutes. Pour 1 cup of cold water in to make the coffee go to the bottom. Turn off or greatly reduce heat. Use a soup ladle to pour coffee into mugs. This can be messy. It might be easier to transfer all of the coffee to another pot from which it can be easily poured. You need to pour through a sieve because there will be coffee grounds, etc. It's impossible to avoid. I make this coffee on Sunday while I'm trying to do this. Since it has not gone well with this message, maybe I should only do one thing at a time. I have sent off, accidentally, 2 previous messages. Sorry for filling up your inbox. So much for my graceful entry into your group. Colleen Cote' FareChase: Search multiple travel sites in one click. http://farechase.
