Guest guest
Not one mention of a dead turkey carcass either or any other dead animal. Imagine that! A real Thanksgiving song. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. Shelly Thanks I teach my class a song about a sad turkey who cries thru the whole song... and ends with the words.. " I don't like Thanksgiving Day " Once a family accused me of teaching vegetarian songs to kids!! The other song was about turkeys hiding in a tree, that get away..LOL can you imagine, first I DIDN'T write them, just teach them.. and it's okay to sing, about devouring turkeys and pies... foolish Ezevia On 11/23/05, linda <lindai81 wrote: > > Not one mention of a dead turkey carcass either or any other dead animal. > Imagine that! Guest guest
We looked at a house (we are looking to buy) the other day and the frig comes with it. I opened it and there was no dead bodies in it and I told the realtor how happy that made me...she has a golden heart and knew what I was talking about. Last night we looked at another house, again with the frig, and again I opened it and said " oops, dead body in here " (it was a turkey) Different realtor...she kind of looked confused. I didn't explain it to her. I do wear a button on my coat that says, " Ask me why I am vegan, " By the way it is very nice to be on a list where no one or most anyway aren't eating turkey, a lovely creature who might have been our national bird. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. All the best, Sherry in Oregon Thanksgiving Song Swing the shining sickle, cut the ripened grain, Flash it in the sunlight, swing it once again. Tie the golden grain-heads into shining sheaves, Beautiful their colors as the autumn leaves. Pick the rosy apples, pack away with care, Gather in the corn ears, gleaming everywhere, Now the fruits are gathered, all the grains are in, Nuts are in the attic, corn is in the bin. Loudly blows the north wind, through the shiv'ring trees, Bare are all the branches, fallen all the leaves, Gathered is the harvest for another year, Now our day of gladness, Thanksgiving Day is here.
