" Seasoned Fried Tofu " 1 lb. package of extra firm tofu, drained 3 tblspns. lite soy sauce or tamari 1/4 cup nutritional yeast *optional -1 garlic clove squeezed 1 1/2 tsps. mixed seasonings of your choice (Mrs. Dash, Spike, cayenne, cumin, red pepper flakes, etc.) 2 tblspns. oil (canola, olive oil , sesame, etc.) Lightly grease skillet with oil. Put soy sauce in bowl with squeezed garlic and mix. In another bowl mix spices and yeast. Slice tofu in 1/4 inch slices and dip in soy sauce, then dip in yeast mixture.
