Guest guest
Time for everyone to sign in/check in and let us know they're really out there and where out there they are (did I get that right?). ALSO, just for fun I'm asking a Question of the Season (why not!) - here it is: Apart from your nearest and dearest (obviously), with whom would you - in your wildest imagination - like to spend New Year??? Any person/creature, living, historical or fictional, qualifies. Oh yes, and WHY? LOL (Keep it family-rated, folks!) And have a lovely Holiday Season! Guest guest
Hi all.. I'm still around...although, I've been somewhat off the veggie wagon lately...oh well...maybe I'll go back on again soon... Anyway, made some rice and beans in my new rice cooker (I love that thing!!) and added bbq sauce...yummy! Well...who would I like to spend new year's with? Hmmm....it's a toss up between the Dalai Lama and James Watson. Guest guest
Okay, I'm here, freezing in the Chicago suburbs! As for New Year's, our praise band is sponsoring a concert, and in my wildest dreams I would love to have a band like Casting Crowns or the Apologetix show up to jam with us. (Hey, I can dream, can't I?) Pat <veggiehound wrote: Time for everyone to sign in/check in and let us know they're really out there and where out there they are (did I get that right?). Guest guest
Hi Everyone I live in sunny South Africa so the weather is great at the moment to it means lots of veggie picnics and braais (B-B-Q's). Yesterday we had our annual Veggie get together as it was a holiday here. It was beside a beautiful dam and the weather was fabulous and lots of lovely grub. Christmas Day is a quiet time for me as my only relative my son and his wife live overseas but I usually enjoy myself by going to one of the casino's or hiring a mini-series and order all my favorite food to be delivered. Who I would like to spend Christmas with is Woody Harrelson at his place in Hawaii as apart from him being fabulous I hear he has the perfect evironmentaly friendly place which I would love to see (wind power, solar heating , no power lines at all in the whole area) and both of us being Vegan I won't starve Wishing you all a great Christmas/Hannukah and a great 2006. Guest guest
Hi group! Just realized I didn't give my own prefs for New Year. I'd like for my dh and I to be able to spend an evening with George Bernard Shaw - good conversation and good food (he had his own excellent vegetarian cook). Best love, Pat :-)
Guest guest
I'd like to spend it with my Grandpa. I really miss his stories, his grin, and his pockets full of candy! Guest guest
Hi! I'm your assistant moderator, the one who uploads most of the recipes. I am very glad to be down in sunny south Florida NOW where it is in the 80's, but it wasn't nice during Hurricane Wilma. It will take a long time to rebuild and replant down here. from Maida Citizens for Pets in Condos, http://www.petsincondos.org South Florida Vegetarian Events, http://www.soflavegevents.net

Guest guest
I'm still around. Crazed & demented, but here. New Years? Just 1 person? My buddy Belinda in Australia sounds like fun. Bono would be a great choice too. Pat <veggiehound wrote: Time for everyone to sign in/check in and let us know they're really out there and where out there they are (did I get that right?).
