Guest guest
Love those green onion tops! I don't need a health reason to enjoy them<g> Here's a tip. When you've snipped the tops off, plant the bottoms in some potting or garden soil in a sunny area near your door. They'll keep sending up new green shoots for years in a mild climate. Mine got down to the mid-20's for a few days last week, and they're still going strong. I can snip a few to sprinkle atop stirfries, Mexican dishes, etc. Sherry in Oregon At 11:36 AM 12/22/2005, you wrote: >This holiday season many people will be overeating, which tends to >build up the colonies of pathogens in the body to the point that they >overrun the immune system and cause symptoms. > I find that eating a cup of green onion tops before or during a meal >will disinfect the pathogens to eliminate or markedly reduce the >symptoms before they occur.
