You might want to search the archives for " capsaicin and inflammation " . I had found a book which implicated capsaicin in inflammatory conditions. We discussed it and scientific references to capsaicin as a toxin. Prior to those findings, I had only heard good news about cayenne, so I am not ignorant of the positive, but confirmation is always nice. As it is, I eat hot foods 2 out of 3 meals of the day and even supplement with cayenne! I guess I haven't been swayed by the bad news. Either that or I'm stubborn.
