Not to this list, you didn't, I'm afraid. They are all separate lists of course - different memberships, although there are a few who may belong to both this one *and* my Canadian list. My feeling is that the agricultural industry is always keen, as is the me*t and dairy industry and a whole bunch of others, to create 'days' to promote particular produce. Something as popular as the potato, of course, would not seem to need particular attention, but there's no accounting for promotional ventures! I could determine no particular International Potato Day from what I googled - although I can't claim to have read every website - but perhaps others might have found differently. And now, back to business at hand, eh? Recipes, anyone??? Hot and spicy, remember - it's this list's ongoing theme and raison d'etre.
