Guest guest
A find: http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/ Those who know me know I'm always looking for new ways to save on fat (I keep my recipes at low-fat as possible) and for new and easy ways to cook traditional veg*n faves. What really excites me is when someone comes up with all that AND absolutely revolutionizes the concept of what veg*n eating is all about. Doesn't happen often, but I have just discovered a new site by our friend Susan Voisin who has several lists on which many of you belong to. (Susan, if there's anyone out there who doesn't know, cooks fat-free vegan whole foods.) But have you seen Susan's new blog? It has her day-to-day menus including trad kid-pleaser recipes (eg pasta primavera today) and clever adaptations of known spicy dishes (Thai coconut soup) plus absolutely mindblowing vegan sushi - brown rice sushi and even rice-less sushi. And the list goes on. You have to see it. Please - if anyone has tried these dishes, will you please report back? Especially the sushi. I'm not a big one for sushi, cuz I don't care much for white rice and most sushi is to be boring. But these look delish and are seducing me towards a whole new way of cooking. You'll find it all on http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/ Let me know what you think? Best love, Pat (I'm hungry!)
