LOL Sadly, it's also very salt, so I don't use it often but one of my favourite restaurants sometimes kindly serves a veg. one (no anchovies) to us with the bread (white, alas) in lieu of butter which they know we won't eat. I last had some as recently as a week ago Thursday ;-) Hadn't thought of pairing smooshed olives with avocado - nice idea, thanks.
