Guest guest
Enter your vote today! A new poll has been created for the group: OTHER 'Hot and Spicy' things! Just for fun (and anonymous again), would you say you enjoy the following seasonings/spices/condiments which are a source of 'heat'? Check which ones! Vegan versions of all the following are assumed: o Chillies (fresh or dried) o Cayenne o Hot (sometimes called 'English') Mustard Powder o Wasabi (Japanese Horseradish paste) o Sambal Oelek (Indonesian crushed pickled chilli condiment) o Horseradish (fresh or jarred) o Ginger (fresh or powdered) o Brown or Yellow Mustard Seeds o Green, Red or Yellow Curry Pastes (Thailand) o Garlic (unroasted) o Worcestershire Sauce o Chilli Bean Paste (eg. Szechuan hot bean paste, Korean Kochujang) o Chilli Oil o Black, red, green and/or white peppercorns o Other (check here and tell us on the list) o None of the above - I don’t much care for ‘hot' with 'spicy’ To vote, please visit the following web page: /surveys?id=1508493 Note: Please do not reply to this message. Poll votes are not collected via email. To vote, you must go to the web site listed above. Thanks!

Guest guest
Personally I like it fiery 99% of the time and Over the top once in a while, that great, massively sweat producing, must drink lots of whatever is around, honestly cannot finish it catharsis. One problem with this poll, however, most people I know think my definition of fiery is over the top and occasionally I have problems/get in trouble because people add a little spice because they think I would like it, which is a nice thought, but I can't make out any extra heat/spice whatsoever. Me too - just like that! Well, if you like it Over the Top at all, then you're in that first category - :-) > One problem with this poll, however, most > people I know think my definition of fiery > is over the top and . . . You're right of course. But it's a matter of personal opinion - and it's for fun, not a scientific study. And you notice, if you have not had hot and spicy for a while, then you taste it as being 'hotter' than you would if you had been having it at every meal for the last few weeks/months. That too. No easy way to measure that in a poll. Thought of itemizing the numbers of chillies and kinds thereof - eg. 1 thai green chili equals . . . But decided that got too tricky - especially for those who use pastes and sauces to get their heat rather than fresh or dried chillies. As I say, just for fun! I can never taste the chillies in 'hot' food except if I ask for it to be made 'very very spicy' in a restaurant. Some Indian and Thai (etc.) restaurants excepted in larger cities. love, pat
Guest guest
In the " other " category I would include Szechuan peppercorns and various types of radish!
