Guest guest
Sarah, who shops at our Boulder, Colorado store, offers this tip for prepping garlic: If you are preparing a recipe that requires you to sauté garlic in oil (like a stir-fry) and want to get all of the prep done in advance, chop the desired amount of garlic, place in a small bowl and cover with the amount of oil specified in your recipe. If you need to let it sit for more than half a day, cover and refrigerate. The garlic will retain its flavor and you won't need to do anything at the last minute except drop it in the pan and stir. If we select your tip and publish it in our fl@vors newsletter, we'll mail you a $25 Whole Foods Market gift card. http://tailoredmail.com/wholefoods/kitchentips/ http://tailorednews.com/r/jSeMgwAbGUcRXQ http://tailorednews.com/tm/chgsubs.asp?Ui=BvKSJsb4wFrW & expect=5750 http://tailorednews.com/r/KJMpZDb4jmSXQI.asp -- Regards, Carolyn
