Guest guest Posted March 17, 2006 Report Share Posted March 17, 2006 Pat, Actually this is not that spicy. I meant to say that the pepperoncini is the type in jars so is not too spicy. Garlic does make it spicy but it mellows out in a couple of days because it marinades. This keeps a long time. The vinegar and mustard preserve it. I've kept it in the fridge a couple months and it tastes fine. I don't like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen if I don't have to. The cilantro cools it down too.
