Answering my own query LOL - I guess (apart from the daily-used coffee grinder)

that my

most used appliance would be my mini-foodchopper (holds a couple of cups, came

with

the wand-style hand blender) - that gets used on a daily basis. My least used

would be the

stand-alone blender. Funny, I would have been sure that I would have answered

that

differently, but thinking about it seriously, yeah, that's the way it is. My

microwave wouled

be a close second to the mini-chopper - for thawing precooked beans, sauces,

etc. in a

hurry, mostly, and heating soymilk for morning lattes.

Best love, Pat

Ok Pat, I'll delurk a bit...;)

I'm Gina, I live in the SF Bay Area. I was vegetarian, have been off the

veggie wagon for awhile, but am seriously thinking of getting back on

again since (and please don't say " I told you so " *grin*) a) my acid

reflux is coming back and b) I'm going to start doing some serious

backpacking, and meat just doesn't travel well.

Anyway, the appliance I use most? My microwave. Mostly for re-heating

leftovers. Although, before it broke, I would have said my rice-cooker.

Hmmm...maybe I'll go and get a new one on Thursday (when I get paid).

The one I use least: My blender. I haven't gotten back into a smoothie

kick yet (it's been a year), so for now, it's collecting dust...

Well, hope everyone's doing well. It's been rather busy for me with work

and other things.

Hi Gina, wondered what had happened to you ;-)

Oh I see LOL No problem - it's happened to many of us - to me many many times in

the

old days. I'd still think of myself as a vegetarian (albeit a 'lapsed'

vegetarian) but

sometimes circumstances or whatever toppled me off the veggie wagon too. Ya do

what ya

gotta do as best you can.

Sorry to hear your acid reflux is returning - is that made worse by a non-veggie

diet? I

suppose it might be. How very unpleasant for you. Well, I'm sure you'll sort out

what's best

for you. Meanwhile, don't forget that there are lots of nonvegetarians on this

list - and

many of them are among our best contributors! So now you're out of lurkdom, you

just

stay out of lurkdom, okay? LOL

Big hugs, Pat

Joining the de-lurk.

Most used - blender (almost daily for smoothies), with my countertop pressure

cooker in a very, very close second. Between the two, I'd rather lose the

blender over the pressure cooker. That thing is so amazing, I hardly ever use

my stove anymore (it browns, sautees, and puts out less heat - definitely a

consideration in Texas).

Least used - dehydrator. It's probably been at least a year.
