" I agree about avoiding fatty foods. Black pepper - BAD, red pepper (like cayenne) - GOOD. The lemon juice in water is like the cider vinegar in water I mentioned. I have never tried potato juice, but I will often have a baked potato with cayenne or hot sauce for breakfast and it helps! My ex-mother-in-law used to say that sourkraut is good for digestive problems. I agree. That has helped me, too. Another thing I forgot to mention is taking pro-biotics. I sometimes take them in pill form, but I also eat yogurt (soy yogurt for me as a vegan). Also - papaya juice is good for gas. Down here in Florida, where fresh papaya is plentiful, I like to have cut up papaya with yogurt. I think that adding fruit, especially acidic fruit, is beneficial - just the opposite of what seems intuitive if you have acid problems. I used to avoid adding lemon to water.
