Hi newbie here and reciepe

Hi,

 

I'm Jolie from Boston, Ma. I have been lurking around for the past

few days and I cannot believe the reciepes. They all seem so good

and I am wondering where to start. I am living a mostly me*t free

diet, but my hubby isnt :). I am gradually cutting the me*t out of

his life, but he is resisting ;). I have a 5month old daughter that

hopefully will live a me*t free life. Here is the reciepe:

 

Green Bean Vinaigrette

 

1 lb green beans, trimmed

 

1 red pepper, cut into thin strips, about 1 1/4 cups

 

2 tbs Dijon mustard

 

2 tbs minced shallots, about 1 shallot

 

1/3 cup bottled red wine vinaigrette salad dressing

 

Over high heat, bring large pot of salted walter to a boil. Add

green

beans; cook until just tender, about 4min, adding red pepper strips

during last minute of cooking time. Drain, rinse under cold water

until

cool. Meanwhile, whisk Dijon mustard and minced shallots into salad

dressing. Add cooled green bean mixture; toss to coat.

Good luck with your cutting out me*t in your family - sometimes it takes a

while, but

there's really no rush. Some people manage to do it very quickly, almost

overnight for

some (and for one person I remember it was decided and accomplished between

lunch and

supper!). For others, it's a matter of gradually getting rid of it and

substituting other

wonderful foods until one feels almost annoyed at the idea, after some months,

of fitting

me*t into the menu at all! You'll see ;-)
