Guest guest
You mow the lawn and I'll be over with my guacamole and chips to go with the cold beer. Guest guest
That would be spicy guacamole, right? Doesn't matter either way since I would never turn away a pretty lady from my door especially when she brings food. Do you have a recipe for the guacamole? I just mash avocados, stir in garlic, chopped jalapenos, squirt of lime juice, and a few pinches each of cayene pepper, ground black pepper and salt. Another of my non-recipe recipes. I don't think all my posts are making it to the list because just yesterday I posted a note to you in thanks for sharing the link to that other spicy group you mentioned. So again thank you. Guest guest
> I don't think all my posts are making it to the list . . . I think it's happening to several of us - I posted three messages to the list (one a few minutes after the other) this morning, and only the third made it through. However, you have got your message across now. About yer guacamole - that's more or less how I make mine - a little dab of this and a little dab of that, which is necessary to leave a bit loose/free since avocadoes are indeed of different sizes! Still, if anyone would like other versions, with measurements, there are several in the Files - in the folder that is named 'Salsas, Sauces . . .blah blah blah'. Love guacamole! Best love, Pat
Guest guest
Hi Lawrence, you bet it would be spicy guacamole. I make mine almost the same, I do like a small handful of chopped cilantro tossed in for good measure. I did scam the archives and I don't see that post of yours with mention of the other spicy vegetarian group. Did you join? If you lost the link it's probably in the past posts in here or write me off list and I'll get it for you. I joined the other group also, recipe files rock and they have quite a few ethnic recipes in there and many new recipes are posted daily. I like the added flare, sometimes I make a meal with a Latin appetizer and a Persian rice with an Indian main dish. Just as long as the meal has a lot of spice. Tonight I'm trying a spicy black bean soup, if it turns out I'll have to post the recipe. HB , " Lawrence Kilmer " <magnusgrimnir wrote: > > That would be spicy guacamole, right? Guest guest
If I did a shot of gin every time I got ed I would be an alcoholic! Guess we will all just have to suffer along with the free service as it is and be thankful for it to remain as such. Guest guest
Cilantro, yes. I forgot about that herb. I should add that to my next batch. Thank you for the idea. That lost post is water under bridge, long gone. No worry. I managed to join and was able to convey my thanks to you for mentioning it. I don't consider myself the best cook so I can use all the help and I can get. Work is done for the day, so I am heading to the pub. Cheers!
