Guest guest
Welcome, Sharon! As a veggie of 30 years you should have lots of good recipes, ideas, tips and loads of other info for the group, eh? Envy your eating opportunities in San Francisco - love San Francisco (although your summers have left a lot to be desired, but don't everyone's these days!). Lovely to have you here! Best, Pat (Group Owner and General Dogsbody - and longtime veggie)
Guest guest
Thanks, Pat! You would think so, but I'm actually just getting into cooking. My ex-husband was quite the chef and in the years since the divorce, I've just " gotten by " - with the help of easy-to-make-but-not-so-healthful pastas and restaurants that deliver. And, yes, San Francisco summers can be quite chilly. Actually, we had a heat wave for quite awhile, but it has moved east. (I feel for the rest of the country that is now suffering.) So now it's back to the summer fog/chill. Yesterday, I made a delicious Quinoa Split Pea soup in the pressure cooker from Lorna Sass's vegetarian pressure cooker cookbook. I'm starting to think of my favorite holiday, Halloween. :-) Sharon Patricia Sant wrote: > Welcome, Sharon!
