Guest guest
Welcome Merv Good for you for being '90%' vegetarian - only ten per cent to go, eh? The trick is to figure out why one hangs on to the laast ten per cent. Ah well, we've probably all been there at some time or other. Lovely to have you join us!!! Heh heh heh - you answer: > 5. Dogs or cats? > > 1 each, both useless but gentle souls..why is this important? The 'important' bit was intended as gentle irony. But the question, apart from setting forth a false dichotomy (as your answer shows) does give people a chance to tell us about themselves. Many vegetarians are very keen about animals - And we love to talk about our pets (well, I do). > coffee once in the morning, tea otherwise....and, > my excellent homebrew beer anytime....now this is important! Ya see? I don't think I've ever had homebrewed beer - no no, that's not true - once I did. an elderly relative of mine used to make a 'beer' that was lethal and forbidden to kids, although it smelled wonderful. <sigggghhhh> > home...25 years of travel in Asia behind me.. Ahah! You should make an interesting recipe contributor! Relax about the astrology - I'm not into it either - but some people find it fun and some have made a science of it. The questions were harmless. > 10. Favourite colour? > > Of fruit, a sunset, a flower, skin tone, jelly beans? > I don't understand the question? Never mind - it'll come to you! But your comment on Pet Peeve made me smile: > Too numerous to list....I'd have to start with the president and work > my way down. I'd suggest starting with almost any politician and working UP, but that's just me! Thanks too for the 'important stuff' at the end (Repetitious on the zymurgy, but you did make me look it up to be sure! We'll get on just fine!) What do you grow? Your own veg I hope! Me, I walk down to the Farmers Market twice a week for fresh locally grown organic goodies - on my way in five minutes! Then I'll probably need recipes from everyone here to give me alternate ways of cooking some of them Thanks, Merv. You've lightened up my morning! Best, Pat (Group Owner, Host and general dogsbody)

Welcome from this New Hampshirite. > Zymurgist Insofar as this also includes other fermented products (kimchi, tempeh, yogurt), I count myself among the ranks. I really enjoy good beers though, and if it weren't for all the strict sanitation and large equipment involved in homebrewing, I would give it a shot too. -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog
