That would be nice, Linda :=) and it's a kind thought - but Indian food (and some others, of course) does depend on the mix and proportion of spices and without *your* measurements it won't be the same as yours, and therefore it won't be a 'tried-and-true' recipe. It's a strict rule here - and although I know that other groups don't insist, we do because, well, because we want to make sure that the recipes work each time *exactly* as the recipe says. And those members who haven't made that particular recipes before won't know how it is supposed to taste unless we give them the measurements exactly - with a little give and take, of course, with regard to the chillies! LOL You know, I am a cook much like you, but since I started offering recipes to others I write my measurements down - including every little bit extra I put in to make it taste right - on a scratch pad I keep on my kitchen counter. I might not make it that way every single time myself, but I do know for sure that the version I offer here is workable as given as well as tasty. Do you mix your own spices too?
