We are not vegetarians, although I have been serving more and more vegetarian dishes, and trying to keep meat to a minimum in our meals.. Our favorites are Thai curries..the hotter the better! Guest guest Posted November 14, 2006 Report Share Posted November 14, 2006 Hi, I have not responded yet I am not officially vegan or vegetarian but I am struggling to be one in a family of meat eaters. I am also trying to win my kids over the the life-style. The biggest difficulty I am having other then making them try new foods is money and time. Good vegetarian cooking requires both and with 5 kids and a small budget those are challenges. I am also pre-ocuppied with my weight so I try to keep my carbs in balence. Again, whole grains don't come cheap, around here anyway and I'm not about to make my own pasta and bread no way I can balence that with 5 kids and a student carreer. I am always looking for quick simple vegetarian recipes that are affordable and dont containt to many ingredients.
