Guest guest
Thanks, Gary That's interesting indeed - and I hadn't spotted that item. I don't know how this impinges on my habit of eating loads of chilies, but it'll come to me, I'm sure, after another cup of coffee. Can you remember - I think I read somewhere (maybe something posted here?) that capsaicin could alleviate arthritis pain? Any knowledge of that??? (Nope, relax, everyone, this isn't turning into a health group or a hypochondriac's whinge group - but things are slow right now and hey, it doesn't hurt to ask I'll mark this OT so those who aren't interested can skip it, ok? That way we can always go Off Topic a bit if we like!) Love, Pat > Thought you might find this Science News article interesting. > > http://www.sciencenews.org/articles/20061111/fob5.asp .. . . No worries, this is a mechanistic finding of similar action, not a proscription. I've read worse (i.e., stomach cancer, etc..) and still not been dissuaded, so this one surely won't do it. -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog > > Thought you might find this Science News article interesting. > > > > http://www.sciencenews.org/articles/20061111/fob5.asp > . . . >
