Do you have any gluten-free recipes we could add to our Files? Breads and bread-like things especially are difficult for many, and I'm sure there are people here who would be grateful if you could help! Guest guest
The unfrosted do not contain gelatin, per my previous post of an unfrosted strawberry pop tart and coffee previously being my staple breakfast ) I found a store brand which had a few unfrosted flavors. Gelatin is just *nasty* to me :-P I'd like to look into making my own " pop tarts " one of these centuries. Guest guest
That was my understanding as well, i.e., only the frosted are off limits as far as gelatin is concerned. -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog , Suzanne <spotterfly wrote: > > The unfrosted do not contain gelatin, per my previous post of an unfrosted strawberry pop tart and coffee previously being my staple breakfast ) I found a store brand which had a few unfrosted flavors. Guest guest
Not bad, though I dislike that many of my once-favorite cereals now sit forlornly on the shelves. My blood test for Celiac came back negative, which actually has made it harder to commit, for example, the occasional beer. Now that Anheuser-Busch has come out with a gluten-free beer called Redbridge, I'm going to try harder. I drink wine for the most part these days. Anyway... for the crunch of my cold cereals, I have switched to soynuts and baked corn tortillas. I'm not sure whether I should also be excluding oats too (so far, I have not). <shrug>, -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog , " Pat " <drpatsant wrote: > > > (and I'm experimenting with a > > gluten-free diet, for the time being). > > How's that going?
