Guest guest
Hi Francine, you wrote: > I hate breakfast because a good breakfast is expensive > and we are a family of 7 . . . It's true. Good food can be very expensive. But I guess, as you will have found, that although expensive out-of-season fruits make the meal memorable, you can find similar food value in more common fruits - and exotic breads at $5 or $6 a loaf (same prices here if we want good organic bread) don't even come near the quality and taste of your own wholewheat or wholegrain muffins! Still, there are only so many hours in a day and one can't be baking every morning You can make your own granola in huge batches, though, at a fraction the cost (and probably better for you and tastier too) and that helps a lot Maybe others will have similar experience to yours and can give some ideas. I hope so. (We're a household of two adult humans and three fur kids, so we do everything differently.) Best love, Pat
Guest guest
Thanks for the tip Maybe one day I can spend some time baking. but right now, I am finishing my univesity degree and taking care of 5 kids. Not much time left Where there is a will there is a way however and nutrition is so important. I am taking ethics at my university by the way and we are starting to talk about the exploitation of animals for meat. It will be very interesting.
