A couple of members have recently mentioned this recipe - which was originally

posted

back in January of 2005 (I know, I can't believe it's that long) who was then a

moderator

here.

As mentioned, this is absolutely delicious, and we have it often. Some say it is

a good

breakfast dish too, eaten cold, and can be carried easily for lunch :) NOTE:

Although

'vegan' it uses no fake dairy or fake egg.

HELEN'S SPICY MILLET (VEGAN)

5 1/4 cups water

1 1/3 cups millet

3/4 tsp dill seed

3/4 tsp dill weed

1/4 tsp. Celery seed

1 tsp tiny red peppers

3/4 tsp onion powder

3/4 tsp garlic powder

3/4 tsp onion or celery salt

1/4 tsp turmeric

1/4 tsp poultry seasoning or sage

2 tbs lecithin granules

2 tbs nutritional yeast flakes

1/4 teaspoon cayenne

2 tbs mock " chicken " boullion

Pour into a greased casserole and bake at 350º for 1 hour.
