Guest guest
I'll add the following to almost anything: Green Tabasco-type sauces (added to about everything) Olive oil (as a flavoring -- better than butter in most recipes) Cilantro (it tastes so fresh -- it can be added to tomato soup along with a little lime and peppers to make a zesty Mexican-style soup) Fresh ground black pepper vs. pre-packaged ground pepper Crushed red pepper Dill weed (Ok, so I don't really care for dill weed. I just like saying it.) Caitlin All-girl. All-vegetarian. All rock. Powdercake. http://www.myspace.com/powdercakeband
Guest guest
> Dill weed (Ok, so I don't really care for dill weed. I just like saying > it.) LOL I know, Caitlin - so do I! Nor do I like it much, except in dill pickles. But I do keep a little dried dill in the cupboard in case it's needed/ mandatory in something or other Some cooks couldn't cook without it - or at least not happily. I note you also include Cilantro - cuz 'it tastes so fresh'. I agree there too. But I wonder - it's all supposed to be a genetic thing with cilantro, whether one hates it as too bitter or loves it or at least tolerates it. I wonder whether those who don't like cilantro like dill - or is there no connection at all???? Any thoughts, anyone? Love, Pat
Guest guest
Well...I absolutely, positively HATE cilantro....my stomach turns if I even get a whiff of it in the store. Dill, I like a lot. I use it often in cuke salads. Go figure. I think I just threw a wrench into your theory, lol. sorry! Beth Pat <drpatsant wrote: I agree there too. Guest guest
That's no wrench at all. I think that lends support for her hypothesis. Am I right, Pat? I like them both, so I do not qualify for this " study.
