Guest guest
Dan, I'm not familiar with Mayan/Yucatecan cuisine (or at least knowingly). I'd be very interested in a recipe or two from this culture, if you have some available (and the time to post them). Thanks, -Erin www.zenpawn.com/vegblog , " Dan G. My wife and I really enjoy various cuisines, such as Thai, Indian, Mayan/Yucatecan, and Italian. We love spicy and flavorful foods - not necessarily overpowering, but at least detectable. > > I'm thinking of starting a restaurant of some sort, someday. Guest guest
Amazing what's out there if you look! Are you going to try any of these? As for the two with ch*cken, I was thinking that the second one down at the bottom (with a 5-star rating, no less!) could be made with faux chikken strips - or even, perhaps, with firm tofu which has been 'squozen 'n' frozen'. Waddaya think? I'll look at the sweet stuff later, but how about that lovely supper salad! I love quinoa Love, Pat http://www.recipezaar.com/recipes.php?q=mayan+
Guest guest
Oh happy day! I thought I was gonna get in trouble for not editing the link. Yes, I definitely plan to make some of those! I love quinoa, too & luckily so does the rest of my family. And I spend a lot of time at that site - I play a LOT of the tag & other games there & I've been recently bumped up to Forum Host. And yes, there IS a vegetarian/Vegan forum, too. Bethie Pat <drpatsant wrote: Amazing what's out there if you look! Are you going to try any of these? Guest guest
No problem, Bethie! (You warned that the site wasn't veggie - and that's more than good enough. Good site.) Clearly I'm going to have to have another look at the site. Games? Hmmm! Nice that you're forum host too - Hugs.
