Guest guest
Thanks to everyone, we seem to have revealed a very interesting group of members here, many who are too busy to post all the time but retain a keen interest in vegetarian cooking and who obviously visit this site and/or read these emails on a regular basis! That's good to know, eh? Here are my responses to this last group of members signing in: ROBIN: Pleased to see you emerge from Lurk! Hey, I'll bet there are lots of us here who like stews etc. so that we can have most of the meal in one pot and let it sit and finish off while we sit down before a meal. I just HATE rushing from stove to table Any faves? RAVI: I swear that rice-based veggie food is the most obvious and the easiest to arrange menu-wise. Not that the dishes themselves are necessarily easy or quick, but it seems good sense to me to base a veggie meal around a heap of grain (rice) and add the other dishes to suit. This is something most of the world has known for centuries CRAIG: Congrats on embarking on the Master's programme! Good for you!! Lucky you to have garden space - nothing like lovely fresh from the garden produce! And there's nothing like working it to earn the thirst for that beer. Or rooibos, of course. GARY: Wow that must be quite a garden you have. Very impressive indeed. Thanks for all the links too. Now tell me, what among the new things you've grown lately have been most pleasing to you? The most successful? Any hints about the best things to try, say, among the peppers? (That's quite a list!!!) Love and hugs, Pat (Group Owner)
