Annie <mexicosun2 Friday, July 27, 2007 5:39:51 AM RECIPE:MEXICAN CORNBREAD PIE Ingredients: Cornbread mix make your own or, if you used a boxed or packaged mix, you will need 1 large or 2 small ones. Taco seasoning Chili powder seasoning 1/2 package of soy hamburger 1 package of soy white queso cheese 1 large jar of salsa, your choice Heat oven as instructed for cornbread. Mix cornbread and put enough in the bottom of pie pan to 1 " to 2 " . Reserve the rest. Sprinkle soy hamburger over top. Shake a light covering of chili powder over top. Repeat with taco seasoning. Spread 1/2 jar of salsa over mixture. Cut 1/2 of white cheese into small pieces and dot over the top. Pour rest of cornbread batter over the top. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until center is done. Serve with tortilla chips and queso dip. Queso Dip. Melt the other half of white cheese with: A little bit of milk 1/2 jar of salsa. When smooth and bubbly, remove from heat.
