Guest guest
well, it came and went...and it went well. i served all cold appetizers...sauteed tofu cubes with tamari and garlic; a lentil pate (without walnuts...didn't have any, forgot to buy them and really don't like nuts in anything), which everyone loved; hummus with olive oil and hot sauce around the rim; spinach balls with parmesan cheese (excuse if this group doesn't do dairy); sesame seed balls to which i added a bit of flour and an egg white (left over from the blonde brownies made with raisins instead of chocolate chips) because i couldn't get them to stick together and salsa made from mine and the neighbor's garden (i used a couple of green tomatoes because they fell off when i was trying to grab a ripe one...oh well). and i, of course, had regular brownies (i'm not a big chocolate fan) and my homemade wine...everything was loved and i actually sold a few things... now to make the veggie fish sauce (what a wonderful idea)...next on the agenda. thanks for all your ideas. namaste, -k
